Overview

The International Account Administrator serves in a sales order support role for the overall operation of the International/Government Sales Department.

Responsibilities

  • Process customer quotes and orders, monitoring the status and making changes as necessary.
  • Provide continuous customer support related to quotes, orders, questions regarding our products, shipping details or tracking, export logistics and/or shipment documentation.
  • Support the outside sales team with quotes, orders and other general inquiries as needed.
  • Arrange and coordinate export shipments for customers as needed.
  • Prepare manual export documentation including Free Trade certificates as required.
  • Contribute ideas as an active member of the International Department.
  • Provide recommendations to increase productivity and improve service to our customers.
  • Assist International Administration/Operations Manager and Project Managers with sales projects and administrative functions as needed.
  • Assist Accounts/Receivables with questions related to past due or unpaid invoices.
  • Perform office support functions, including, but not limited to answering department phones, taking messages, filing, copying, scanning, preparing correspondence, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

 

  • Bilingual in English, Spanish and another foreign language (both verbal and written) desired.
  • College degree desired, but not required, previous sales/customer service experience.
  • Previous experience with export logistics and documentation preferred.
  • Experience with SAP preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially MS Excel.
  • Detail-oriented with ability to make arithmetical calculations.
  • Strong organizational skills, effective productivity habits and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidential information in a discretionary manner.
  • Ability to handle multiple complex tasks.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills.
  • Effectively manage time and prioritize daily activities.
  • Motivated team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
