National Account & Distributor Sales Manager

Responsible for achieving business goals at existing retail accounts (brick & mortar and online) that are sold direct by BUNN or through Authorized BUNN Distributors. Day to day activities include: retail assortment planning, coordinating product transitions, coordinating new product set-up including programs and pricing, account sales reporting/forecasting, participating in trade shows/product training events and executing marketing/sales promotions.



  1. Meets or exceeds agreed upon annual and five-year sales goals.
  2. Oversees all levels of sales activity for assigned accounts.
  3. Works with assigned distributor sales teams to grow the BUNN business in distributor accounts
  4. Manages forecast accuracy, coordinates customer data with internal planning group to improve sales forecasts.
  5. Gathers and analyzes market data from customers, including POS, to enable the Home Products team to make informed sales and product management decisions.
  6. Develops account specific marketing programs to increase sales.
  7. Attends industry trade shows to support sales efforts and monitor competitive activity
  8. Identifies market/competitive trends and works with Product Managers and Marketing Managers to target new product development and marketing promotions that capitalize on those trends
  9. Works effectively with commercial sales and service teams to support commercial sales goals in assigned retail accounts.
  10. Performs other duties as assigned.


Eight years + proven sales experience, at least three years managing National Accounts.  BS/BA degree preferred.


Abilities include: outstanding verbal/written communication skills, managing major accounts; building strong personal relationships at multiple levels inside assigned accounts; having highly developed analytical and organizational skills; willing to travel; must be self-motivated. 


Additional requirements include:  proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
